Godolphin Fine Art

For the past four or five years, the Godolphin Fine Art website has been hosted with Zynet. We were approached by the owner to take over the runnning of the site. The first task was to increase the number of pictures on the site from the three or four currently displayed from each category.

The idea was to have all the current stock of paintings online. We soon found out why there were only three or four paintings online as Zynet required the whole page to be rebuilt whenever a painting was removed or added.
Using form2list, pictures are added to the appropriate section (oil, watercolour) then classified as landscape, maritime and other. A thumbnail is automatically created for each picture uploaded.
If a picture is sold, the administrator can go straight into the page, click the appropriate picture and un tick the published flag. The live site is updated immediately and the sold painting no longer shows.
